A Cudahy High School teacher was charged Friday with felony possession of methamphetamine following an arrest Thursday night.
A Cudahy High School teacher was charged friday with felony possession of methamphetamine as well as a misdemeanor count of possessing drug paraphrenalia.
Joshua Beck, 45, was arrested Thursday evening and made his initial court appearance Friday afternoon. The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department and FBI led the investigation.
“We take this matter very seriously and are cooperating fully with law enforcement as they conduct their investigation,” the School District of Cudahy said in a news release. “At this time, the individual is not present in the building or actively working in the District. The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our highest priority.”
Beck was a longtime English teacher in the district and previously served as the secretary of the Cudahy teacher’s union.
