Vice President JD Vance returns to Wisconsin on Wednesday, highlighting the Trump administration’s commitment to a strong national defense and economic resurgence in the key battleground state.
Vance is scheduled to visit the Wisconsin Air National Guard’s 128th Air Refueling Wing in Milwaukee, his first trip to the Badger State since February, when he campaigned for Rep. Derrick Van Orden in Plover. State Republican Party Chairman Brian Schimming confirmed the stop, which underscores the administration’s focus on supporting America’s military and the hardworking families who keep the nation secure.
The vice president is expected to tour the facility and deliver remarks praising the men and women in uniform who embody Wisconsin values of service, resilience and patriotism. Under President Donald Trump’s leadership, the administration has prioritized rebuilding the military after years of neglect by previous Democratic policies, restoring readiness and ensuring that America’s armed forces, including vital Guard units like the 128th, have the resources they need to deter adversaries and protect the homeland.
