There are 55 days until Election Day. That’s enough time to get involved to impact our state’s future.
This midterms are being sold as an affordability referendum. But some of the solutions being offered are anything but affordable: higher taxes, higher spending, and higher energy bills. All of this means less freedom for you.
That means we have 55 days to make a difference and stop a gross expansion of government.
55 days to lower property taxes and end the 400 year property tax hike.
55 days to have more education options for kids.
55 days to keep our communities safe.
55 days to have affordable energy bills.
Because Governors do more than sign ceremonial bills. They name the Public Service Commission, decide whether Act 10 survives, and drive what economic development could look like for a state.
And the legislature does more than hold committee hearings. They write legislation and pass bills that can create more freedom or restrict your opportunity.
Neighboring states like Minnesota and Illinois already ran the high-tax experiment. Jobs, economic opportunity, and young workers left. Then the same government asked for more. Wisconsin does not have to copy that.
Fifty-five days will determine if we follow the path of Illinois and Minnesota or the path of Florida. We must insist on lower taxes, cheaper power, faster building, and a state that gets out of the way.
