A man is in critical condition after a double shooting inside Aurora Sinai Hospital in Milwaukee early Monday morning.
The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a double shooting at Aurora Sinai Hospital near 12th and State early Monday morning that left one man in critical condition.
The victim, 40, suffered life-threatening injuries while a 38-year-old man who was also shot is expected to survive. Officers took a 37-year-old man into custody and say there is no ongoing threat to the public. It is unclear how the suspect got into the hospital with a gun or what led to the shooting.
βEarlier this morning, we worked with law enforcement in response to a situation inside our facility,” Aurora Sinai said in a statement. “We are grateful for their rapid response and continued partnership. Care is being provided for those affected, and there is no ongoing risk to the public.”
