We here at the Heartland Post were deeply saddened by the news earlier this week that our friend Paul Farrow passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.
Paul was a husband, a father, a dedicated public servant, and a good man.
Paul was the true unicorn in today’s venomous and spastic political world. He was not a politician in any sense of the word even though he was first elected back in 2010.
Paul was a true man of faith, a decent and caring man who put his family and community first.
His selflessness and tireless community service was appreciated by everyone in Waukesha County and we trusted Paul implicitly enough to elect him three times to be our leader. And even when we didn’t agree with Paul on an issue, we always knew that Paul had our best interests at heart and that, in the end, he would do what was best for all of us.
We feel lucky to have spent time with him in this world and privileged to call him our friend.
Paul’s leadership, wisdom, and kindness will be missed dearly in Wisconsin politics. His is a void that cannot be filled.
Please join us in saying a prayer for his amazing wife Amy and his entire family.
We wish we had remembered to tell Paul thank you over the years for everything that he did for us. Paul was not looking for anything from any of us. Paul was always thinking of us and what he could do for us to make our community better.
Paul Farrow was not a politician. Paul was a friend to all and we are all lucky to have called him our friend.
Godspeed Paul.
