The Wisconsin Republican Assembly Campaign Committee raised over $6 million during the reporting period from January 1 to June 30, 2026, according to filings submitted to the Wisconsin Ethics Commission in mid-July.
The total included $5.72 million from individual contributors. The committee spent $202,413 during the period and ended with $11,522,899 in cash on hand.
In the same January-to-June window, the Assembly Democratic Campaign Committee raised a little over $3 million with contributions from individuals and transfers making up the bulk of the total. It finished the period with $2,370,144 in cash reserves after expenditures of approximately $875,000.
In a press release, Majority Leader Tyler August said: “Republicans will have the resources needed to bring our commonsense ideas to the voters and highlight our legislative accomplishments on behalf of Wisconsinites across the state.”
The disparity leaves the Republican Assembly Campaign Committee with a substantial resource advantage heading into the 2026 election cycle, with a more than five-to-one cash-on-hand edge when comparing combined resources across accounts.
