Lifelong Wisconsinite and local businessman Jim Croft officially announced his candidacy for the open 21st State Senate District seat on Tuesday, bringing a message of practical solutions and commitment to the families he serves.
Croft released his statement from Franklin, where he and his wife, Marina, raise their family, emphasizing his deep roots in the state he loves. “I love Wisconsin. I’ve lived here my whole life. My wife Marina and I are raising our family in our home in Southeastern Wisconsin,” he said. Like many Wisconsinites, Croft has seen the strain rising costs place on everyday families. “I’m running for State Senate to bring private sector common sense to Madison and make sure our kids have the same opportunities we did.”
The 21st District, which includes communities across Racine County and parts of southeastern Wisconsin, is opening up after longtime Republican Senator Van Wanggaard announced his retirement.
With experience as a local businessman, drawing on roles in operations, customer service, and management, Croft positions himself as the candidate who will deliver results rather than rhetoric. His platform focuses on three pillars that resonate with voters: lowering the cost of living, ensuring access to affordable healthcare, and preserving the Wisconsin way of life for future generations. These priorities reflect a forward-looking vision combining fiscal responsibility with compassion for families struggling to get ahead.
Conservatives now have their candidate in the 21st District: a dedicated family man, proven businessman, and passionate advocate ready to champion their priorities in the State Senate. Jim Croft’s campaign is off to a strong start, and the coming months promise to showcase why his brand of common-sense leadership is exactly what the district and the state need.
